Facilities: THIS FACILITY CONTAINS TWO 8 LANE/25 YD. POOLS EQUIPPED WITH LANE LINES, STARTING BLOCKS/12 AND 5 FT DEPTHS AT STARTING ENDS. COLORADO TIMING SYSTEM WITH RIGHT LANE DISPLAY. SEPARATE SPECTATOR AREA/UNLIMITED PARKING. REFRESHMENTS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE CONCESSION AREA

 

Eligibility: The meet is open to any USA registered swimmer. Swimmer's age as of March 29, 2008, governs age group participation for the entire meet.

 

Meet Start & Warm Ups: ASSIGNED WARM-UPS: There will be two 20-minute periods per session. Sprints are included as a 5-minute segment of each warm-up period. Additional warm-up sessions may be added if necessary. Lane assignments will be included in coaches’ packets and posted around the pool deck

 

Seeding: ALL EVENTS ARE PRESEEDED TIMED FINALS. SWIMMERS MUST COMPETE IN THEIR AGE GROUP EVENTS ONLY. 7/UNDER SWIMMERS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO COMPETE IN AGE 8 INDIVIDUAL EVENTS. SWIM-UPS ARE NOT PERMISSIBLE ANY EVENT.

 

Entry Fees: $4.00 / INDIVIDUAL EVENT $8.00 / RELAY EVENT. $5.00 SURCHARGE PER SWIMMER (IF APPLICABLE). Swimmers may enter a maximum of 5 individual events per day.

8 yr olds may swim 2 relays per day / 7 & unders 1 relay per day

Entry Deadline: 5:00 PM, THURSDAY, MARCH 6, 2008. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE

ACCEPTED.

 

Awards: WAHOOS WILL NOT MAIL AWARDS IF YOUR TEAM FAILS TO PICK THEM UP

 

Individual Events - Rosettes 1-3, Ribbons 4-16, Heat winner ribbons

Relay Events - Ribbons 1-3

Individual High Point – 1st place plaque boy & girl for each age group (8 / 7 / 6under)

Team High Point – 1st – 3rd place plaque overall team score

 

Scoring: *SCORING IS BASED ON USA RULE (102.7.3) FOR 8-LANE POOLS AND WILL INCLUDE COMBINED TEAM

 

TOTALS FOR AGES 6/U, 7, AND 8. INDIVIDUAL EVENTS WILL BE SCORED 9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1. THESE POINT VALUES WILL BE DOUBLED FOR RELAYS.

 

Programs & Admission: FREE ADMISSION / $5.00 PROGRAM PER SESSION.

 

Results: Final results will be posted on the Wahoos website within 48 hours of the conclusion of the meet and transmitted to all clubs that sent an entry via E-mail. Results will also be posted to the Middle Atlantic Swimming website http://www.maswim.org. Albright results will be posted on http://albrightaquaticclub.org.
